BECOME A DRILL FITTER

About the Role
As a Drill Fitter, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring our drilling equipment’s proper maintenance and repair. This role is perfect for those with extensive experience in the industry seeking a hands-on role with heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair drilling equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and components, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and practices.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations and maintenance processes.
- Accurately document maintenance and repair work in line with company reporting procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years as a Drill Fitter or in a similar position within the mining industry.
- Recognised certification in Mechanical Fitting or Diesel Fitting.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing drilling equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in challenging environments and conditions.
- A commitment to upholding the highest safety standards.
